Pastor Lee An-na

Pastor Anna Lee

Pastor Anna serves in the infant and preschool ministry, prayerfully nurturing young children with love so that they experience the love of Jesus and put down deep roots of faith in God's Word. She is passionate about joyfully serving the next generation so they grow into people of faith who love and worship God.

She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Old Testament studies at GTU. Together with her husband, Pastor Myoung Shin, and their two sons, Seojun and Hajun, she is building a family by God's grace and hopes to be a family that passes on faith through the way they live.

Education:

  • Th.B. from Honam University of Theology
  • M.Div. and Th.M. from Seminary
  • Ph.D. in Old Testament studies at Graduate Theological Union

Elementary Ministry

Kingdom Builders: Teaching, Equipping and Empowering Children with the Word of God

Worship Schedule

For: Children in grades 1-5

Time: Sunday 11:00 AM

Ministry Goal

Helping each student "walk with Christ and experience God's love." Through biblical instruction, children develop a foundation of Christian faith.

Reverend Yeonsu Park

Reverend Yeonsu Park directs the elementary ministry. A 1.5-generation minister who immigrated as a child, he bridges Korean and English-speaking families.

  • San Francisco Theological Seminary - Doctoral Studies

Youth Ministry

Vision

"The vision of our youth ministry is to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus Christ in partnership with their families."

Mission

The Youth Ministry aims to engage young people in intimate relationship with Christ and connect them with God's Word relevantly. The program seeks to develop today's youth into tomorrow's Christian leaders who will transform homes, schools, churches, and workplaces through biblical worship and discipleship.

Pastor Myoung Shin
Pastor Myoung Shin

English Ministry & Youth Pastor

Pastor Myoung was born and raised in Germany. He earned an M.Div. and Th.M. in Church History from seminary in Korea and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK). After completing his doctoral studies at GTU, he served as assistant pastor at Korean Church of Queens. He now leads the EM and Youth ministries at Symphony Church, lovingly serving the next generation and young adults to personally encounter Jesus Christ and grow in faith through God's Word.

He and his wife, Pastor Anna, are building a family of faith by God's grace with their two sons, Seojun and Hajun, hoping each day to become a family that more and more reflects the likeness of God.

Education:

  • M.Div. and Th.M. in Church History — Seminary in Korea
  • Ordained by the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK)

Personal Interests:

Enjoys eating, sports, science fiction, fantasy and action movies.

Pastor Anna Kim
Pastor Anna Kim

English Ministry & Youth Pastor

Anna was born in Korea and raised in many different places including Alabama, Ohio, New York, Canada, and Japan. Before moving to the Bay Area, she served as the Children's Director at a church in Atlanta, GA. She is currently finishing her Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary.

Education:

  • M.A. in Biblical Studies — Reformed Theological Seminary (in progress)

Personal Interests:

Loves to run, paint, and do all things related to enjoying nature.

Family: Married to Daewoon; mother of two sons

Her prayer for Symphony's Youth Group is that students will grow to love God through His Word and the Church.
